He is a recipient of the National Young Talent Program, Scientist of the National Bee Industry Technology System, and Vice Chairman & Secretary-General of Zhejiang Apiculture Society. He also serves as Vice President and Asia Regional Coordinator of COLOSS (Prevention of Honey Bee Colony Losses), an international apiculture research consortium. His research focuses on the prevention and control of honey bee diseases and pests, cross-host transmission mechanisms of honey bee pathogens and gut microorganisms, as well as the development and utilization of bee resources. He has been granted 14 invention patents and received 3 provincial and ministerial-level awards, and participated in formulating 4 national standards. He teaches or co-teaches seven courses including Zoology, Economic Entomology and Apiculture. He was awarded the Second Prize in the Science Group of the 6th National University Young Teachers Teaching Competition in 2023.
