Dear Colleagues in the Global bee Industry,
The 18th Asian Apiculture Association (AAA) Conference will be held in Fuzhou, China, in October15-18th 2026. As the organizer of this event, I sincerely invite colleagues from the bee industry across Asia and the world to attend this grand gathering and jointly advance the development of our industry.
The 9th AAA Conference was previously held with great success in Hangzhou, China, in 2008. Now, 18 years later, as it returns to China, we are confident it will once again be a spectacular event.
Apiculture plays a vital role not only in increasing agricultural output, raising farmers' incomes, and protecting the ecological environment but also in providing natural, nutritious, and healthy bee products that meet people's needs. China is the world's largest beekeeping nation, as well as the largest producer, exporter, and consumer of bee products globally. As a traditional export agricultural product, Chinese bee products hold significant importance in the international agricultural trade market. China's honey exports account for approximately one-fifth of global trade volume, and its royal jelly exports exceed 90% of the world's total.
This event will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss cutting-edge research, challenges, and solutions for the sustainable development of beekeeping, biodiversity conservation, and pollination. It will also offer a forum for sharing experiences on bee product production and quality management, exploring apitherapy practices, and discussing the integration of apiculture and tourism.
The Conference will further create showcase opportunities for beekeeping equipment, bee feed, bee products, their value-added derivatives, and processing machinery, enabling trade matchmaking through product displays.
We cordially invite colleagues from around the world to gather in Fuzhou, China, to jointly create a new chapter for the development of Asian apiculture.
We warmly welcome you in the beautiful coastal city of Fuzhou!
Sincerely,
Cao Derong
